Get Involved

Participate in the National Alliance on Mental Illness Annual Walkathon! There are countless reasons that people turn to and begin abusing alcohol and other prescription drugs. Often those who find themselves in the grasp of addiction, may be dealing with undiagnosed depression or other psychological disorders. The walk is designed to raise awareness about mental illness, to increase community education and reach out to new families and individuals living with mental illness, and to support local NAMI affiliates to build a larger NAMI community.

Request a presentation from the Utah County Health Department Substance Abuse Division. This is a great educational tool for the community and the classroom. Help educate our residents and youth on current issues of substance abuse and what is really happening within our neighborhoods.
